The base: 'All the disciplines' diagram

This is the diagram, from the trainer for "Problem Management", fits all the ITIL disciplines into context and together.

We were encouraged to draw the diagram at the start of every session - probably 4 or 5 times a day. After a couple of days, it became automatic and I can see it with my eyes closed.

Works for me :-)

There should be a top-line on this drawing, the roles of Executive and Management: "Strategy Development and Decision Making".

Note that "Security" is not an ITIL Service Management discipline.

Why 'Drills'?

I'd like to pass the ITIL V2 Service Managers Certificate coming in (late) April 2007.

This site is capture my 'Daily Drills' - the things I did/do frequently to learn the material. They may be of use to others :-)

The ITIL exam is about answering within the ITIL context, not any other. So it's important to "know what you know" and know what is and isn't ITIL...
